Gas Test Atmospheres

Nationally Recognised Training

Course Overview

This course provides participants with the required skills and knowledge to enable them to safely enter and work in areas designated as a confined space and enable them to safely carry out gas testing of an atmosphere prior to entering a specific area or workspace. The course provides a blend of meaningful theoretical instruction with practical training based on simulated workplace situations. This course is suitable for anyone required to work in a confined space and performing gas testing.

Course Delivery

Our one-day Confined Space Training Course covers essential procedures for confined space work, including detailed plans for entry, execution, and exit strategies. Participants will learn the necessary steps for safe preparation and cleanup of confined spaces.

During the course, attendees will engage in practical exercises using our custom-designed confined space simulation unit. This hands-on training is critical for understanding the real-world applications of the theoretical knowledge provided.

The course includes a focused segment on gas atmosphere testing. Trainees will learn to use electronic testing devices to evaluate and ensure that the environment within a confined space is safe for entry and the intended work, aligning with the nationally recognised Gas Test Atmospheres unit of competency.
